Ian Marshall – Founder & Director
Ian enjoyed a successful career in corporate, business and private banking before founding Dune Capital.
Including ~20 years at Macquarie Bank where Ian moved through analyst, relationship management, business development progressing to industry and people leadership roles, including nearly 10 years as Division Director.
This journey built a deep level of exposure and experience across all aspects of banking, including hands on transactional execution, policy and industry development, sales, marketing and leading national teams… all the time building enduring relationships with clients.
Ian has lived and worked in Perth, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane building a strong national network as well as lived knowledge of the local economic and business drivers and property markets.
Ian’s specific industry capability and lending expertise spans large corporates, complex partnerships, small business growth capital, commercial property and family and individual capital structures.
After leaving Macquarie and taking some time to reflect on his career, the decision to establish Dune Capital was easy, Ian thrived the energy of a transaction, the satisfaction of delivering for a client and building enduring partnerships.
